Description:

This course focuses on determining when to use strong-named assemblies and evaluating its impact on security and patching. The course also provides you with the skills to select the appropriate deployment technology for your application and environment. It enables you to implement configuration management in distributed applications and build a centrally managed configuration with a user interface integrated into the configuration console.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Describe how to use strong-named assemblies and apply build policies for named assemblies.
• Determine the appropriate deployment technology to be used based on your application requirements.
• Build centrally managed configuration, and extend the Enterprise Library Configuration Application Block with custom storage providers.
