Challenge

Insegni was approached by an industry leading credit hire organisation who required a training program to establish liability in each road traffic accident.

Linked in with case law for cases that had previously been heard through House of Lords and Court of Appeal, this training would ensure that claims taken on a 'non fault' basis were increased rather than once the expense of Credit Repair and Credit Hire had already been incurred. The interactive training would utilise the support of previous case law therefore making the claim accurate, and enable swift payment from the at fault drivers insurer in a more timely fashion.

Results

By researching the business, the day to day running of the claims department and the brief given, Insegni was able to present a solution that excelled beyond their initial brief. The adaptation of a solution that not only met their needs but also acted as an ongoing training/reference guide encapsulating to the ABI 'Association of British Insurers'.

Impact

Establishing true liability at the beginning of a claim would ensure organisations were not exposed to unrecoverable costs through the life of the claim, minimal losses of bad debt, speedier resolution of claims, therefore being able to handle more claims. In the meantime, all staff will further increase their knowledge and ability to establish blame thus reducing training times.
